Don't you just love shoes!! But don't you just hate to when you buy a pair only to wear them for the first time to find that they give you aching sore feet, and just like Cinderella, you don't want to be out at midnight only to find your shoes are falling off!
Here are 4 things to look for when buying shoes.
1. Buy your shoes in the afternoon. Purchasing your much loved shoes in the early morning might result in you buying the wrong size. As you walk through your day our feet tend to swell which can create up to a whole shoe size difference by the end of the day
2. The wider the heel, the more stability you will have and the more coverage on your shoe the more support your feet will have creating even more stability
These great shoes from Mimco provide support, comfort and up to the minute fashion style. mimco.com.au
3. If you are looking for comfort, you don't need to always look for the "sensible" shoe.
Sure the shoes on the left will be really comfortable but they won't put a happy little spring in your step ( pardon the pun) like the Sambag ones from on the right.
4. Don't be afraid to buy your shoes on line. It's a great way to scroll through ALL the styles from particular designers. My go to shoes this season were bought on line from Coach . If I have a day where I am on my feet for any length of time- especially if I am shopping for clients and need to be in comfort and style - these are the ones I reach for. The lovely soft leather mould to my feet and the loafer style offers great support ( they are actually like wearing slippers ) Love them so much think I will get the black also to take me through winter.
Have a chic week and don't forget...... Style Studio coming end of March
