Actually I had two this week: one was volunteering at The Raise Foundation. A mentoring program for disadvantaged youth. I was lucky enough to be asked by Vicki Condon to speak to 3 groups on image presentation and self - branding with regard to job interviews. Discussing the affect of how we look and what we wear has on those around us, and how that can positively or negatively impact judgments made about us.
This is such a valuable and wonderful organization and a fabulous way to give back. If you have been thinking about being super chic, and volunteering your time, check out raise.org.au and think about becoming a mentor to someone who would really value your time.
The second chic experience was as a guest stylist on TVSN Shopping Show as an Ambassador for the fab label Boo Radley. It was a fabulously fun experience being on the set of a TV show- it’s amazing how quickly the hour went and how many products were sold. The Boo Radley garments were a huge hit. My fave was the black silk velvet kaftan – soooooo chic and dreamy. Perfect for any occasion, so easy to wear and super stylish.
Have a chic week!
